The dark side?

In promotion of his new book, "In Justice: Inside the Scandal that Rocked the Bush Administration”" David Iglesias joined Jon Stewart as a guest on tonight's Daily Show and had a very enlightening conversation about his role in the unprecedented firings of nine United States Attorneys in 2006, all of which were approved by President Bush's former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

To sum up the conversation, at a certain point Stewart asked Iglesias, who is a Republican, if he felt betrayed by the very administration that he had always supported. To this Iglesias replied: "To use a Star Wars kind of image, I thought I was working for the Jedi Knights and I was actually working for the Sith Lords."

...and the crowd goes wild!

Of course the always quick Stewart then added, through a barrage of applause: "I wanna tell you something (pause), I wanna tell you something: For the audience for this show, you could not have used a better example."

He could not have ended the show with a better line.
